# Company Authentication Code
## What is my company's authentication code, and where can I find it?
Your **company authentication code** is a 6-character code issued by Companies House. It allows you to securely file and update company information online.
### If you formed your company with Quality Company Formations
- **In your "Order Fulfilment" email:** This email was sent on the day your company was incorporated and includes all company documents and information about the services included in your package
- To locate your code, simply look for the attachment titled **“Authentication Code”**
- **On your Quality Company Formations Dashboard:** Simply [log in](https://www.qualitycompanyformations.co.uk/login/) to your account and select the "[My Companies](https://www.qualitycompanyformations.co.uk/companies/)" tile. You will find your authentication code listed next to your company name and number.
### If you formed your company with Companies House
- Companies House sends the Authentication Code via post directly to the registered office address of the company. This is received around 5 days after the company is formed.
